Last Sunday after we picked Katy up from a youth party at church we went to Wal-Mart so she could pick out her birthday cake for the next day. While we were there Heath found the cake he wanted.
Heath managed to blow out one candle laughing at me trying to sing with a sore throat and cough. So we gave him a freebie.
My piece of cake. We used last year’s candles (I actually haven’t bought birthday candles in years) and the leftover plates and napkins from Katy’s party last week.
Heath did get all new presents, though.
So it was a short, chocolaty celebration. If anyone wants a piece of cake, there’s plenty left. And there’s still ice cream cake from last week.
