Oct. 9 was our 15th anniversary. We had leftovers and chocolate cake to celebrate at home. I gave Heath an owl-shaped peanut feeder. So far the birds are scared to go near it, but they’ll figure it out.

Heath sent me flowers and Buddy had no problem with them being on the table but when I moved them to the counter so we could eat dinner he went absolutely nuts.
Tonight Katy is off with the Gamma Gamma Sigma girls to watch Frozen on Ice (I think that’s totally redundant) so Heath and I decided to go out for a celebration dinner. A friend suggested Casa Nuova, an Italian restaurant just over in the next county, and we’re really glad he did! We had appetizers, soup (Heath), salad (me), entrees and dessert.

While we were waiting for our desserts we were brought a to-go container with fresh-made macaroons to take home. Then right after our desserts showed up the waitress brought out flan with a candle in it for our anniversary. Then someone plopped down a bag of fresh peppers for us to take home. Four red bell peppers and a bunch of jalapenos all fresh from their garden. Mmmm.
